Yael at World Watching has drawn my attention to BabyNames.com, an interesting site on which you can discover the meanings of names. The results can be somewhat freaky:
Saddam: Crusher
Yaser: Wealth
Of course, sometimes they are just plain wrong:
Hussein: Handsome one
Osama: Lion-like
And speaking of names, I don’t see this one catching on any time soon.
