You may recall my post about Sarah Nasser, the devout Muslim woman who received death threats for supporting Israel’s right to exist. Well, I have located her website, which includes extracts like this:
At this moment, I am in a state of utter sadness. On November 26th, I was verbally assaulted on campus by the Arab Student Collective for the mere fact that I was talking with my Jewish friends who were countering a racist rally. Not only was I continually verbally assaulted by ASC members, my life was threatened, and I was made aware of the fact that these arabs knew the classes which I take, which means they know where I am throughout the day.
What kind of world do we live in? Why is it that arabs are the only ones that are mistreating me for the campus profile that I hold. Of course, I have supported endevors, and have friends who are considered contravertial academic celebrities, and I support causes which are contrary to my stereotype and parallel to my beliefs. I am shocked how sick this world is, and more shocked about the ethics and principles which muslims clearly defy, yet stand ground on.
I hate the fact that Muslims continue to tell me not to trust Jews, yet my Jewish friends (from Hillel and Betar) are the most compassionate and understanding people for what I have to go through on campus.
G-d bless her. Her website also contains pictures of her recent trip to Israel.
Check it out.
