Soldier or Civilian?

Islam Online seem to have a hard time distinguishing between soldiers and civilians. This is how they reported yesterday’s suicide bombing:

A Palestinian young woman blew herself up Wednesday, January 14, at the main crossing point between the Gaza Strip and Israel, killing four Israeli soldiers and injuring tens others.

Of course, the facts are something else. In fact, three soldiers and a security guard were killed, while the wounded include five civilians, three soldiers and a PLO Arab woman.

I concede that perhaps the sentence in question is merely ambiguous, and Islam Online do not mean that ten other soldiers were injured. However, judging from past experience, I would not be surprised if they meant to imply that only soldiers were hurt.
