Self-promoting Rabbi, Shmuley Boteach, has a weblog – well, kind of. It is on his site, but written by someone else. And it is off to a rocky beginning. The first entry, posted on Monday Feb 16 reads:

Welcome to Shmuley’s new Web site. Please let us know what you think.

Sounds like an invitation for trouble if you ask me. There are currently two comments on this post:

#1: I think Shmuley should self wasting his time chasing after celebrities and writing about hanging out with Michael Jackson and Britney Spears, and instead go back to writing his weekly Torah newsletters as in his early Oxford days, prior to becoming a full-time self-promoter. #2: There are certainly people attracted to the rabbanute for the wrong reasons who take advantage of public funding and charitable contributors. Case in point, Rabbi Boteach:
