The “Average” PLO Arab

One of the phrases you hear bandied around is “the average palestinian.” I myself have used it to make a distinction between the PLO Arabs trying to make a living, and the bloodthirsty terrorists bent on murder and destruction. I will not pretend to know what percentage of PLO Arabs fall into which category. But what I do know is that many of these “average” PLO Arabs make no pretense about hating us, despite the fact that they rely on us for their livelihoods.

Here are some examples.

  • Yesterday, a neighbor of ours told me how a noticeable smell had been emanating from their walk-in closet. The cause? Faeces. Apparently, the builders like to use the apartments as toilets. Some of the more vindictive ones relieve themselves, place dirt over their “deposits”, and then build over them.
  • A few days ago, one of the builders parked his truck in such a way as to obstruct passage out of our building. When my wife went to take our eldest daughter to kindergarten, she was not able to leave. She patiently waited until it became manifest that no-one was moving the truck. After politely asking the PLO Arab driver to move so she could drive out, he proceeded to ignore her. So my wife reminded him again. And again. After he eventually moved, he stared at her and said “You are a disgrace to your religion.”

With this amount of hate and disregard manifest among the “average” PLO Arab workers, you come to realize what a ticking bomb situation we find ourselves in. No pun intended.
