This is in itself an obstacle to peace; the peace agreements which Israel signed with Egypt and Jordan have not led to normalization. Countering Arab antisemitism is, therefore, not merely a matter of combating falsehood and prejudice: it is a vital component in the struggle to improve relations between Jews and Arabs.
