The Jerusalem Post reports some good news:
An Israeli Arab who was kidnapped and held by Palestinians in the territories was returned alive and well on Saturday with the assistance of the Palestinian Authority Police.
Police sources here praised the efforts of their Palestinian counterparts, saying they had not experienced cooperation of this kind for “a long time.”
My guess is that the PLO Arab police were influenced by the fact that the victim was an Arab. I suspect the results may have been different had he been a Jew.
