I have always been a big fan of Australian Prime Minister John Howard. He has been steadfast in his stance against terror, and has been more understanding of Israel’s position than practically any other world leader. Now I read of another example of his exemplary judgement and common sense.
Prime Minister John Howard has tipped the West Coast Eagles to win tomorrow’s AFL grand final.Mr Howard said it would be good for football if the Swans could win, but the Eagles had the best form.“Sentimentally it would be great for the game if the Swans were to win,” he told Southern Cross Broadcasting.“I think, on form, the West Coast Eagles go in the favourites.”
