Opportunity for Australian Law Students

Sam Garkawe, Associate Professor at the School of Law and Justice at Southern Cross University, has asked that I publicize an opportunity for Australian law students to study law in Israel during the first two weeks of July 2006.*

If you are interested, click on the attachment below for more information.

* According to Mr Garkawe, the common premise of the course is that Israel has a right and need to defend itself. However, it is an academic course and there are three different components of the course (with 3 different lecturers) and many guests who have a variety of opinions, some critical of some aspects of Israel. None however would deny Israel’s right to defend itself. Its main object is get students thinking. Apparently, most students come out of it with a deeper regard for what Israel is up against.
