Palestinian parent-teacher meetings can be a real bummer for the teachers.
Teachers with the UNRWA schools in Balata refugee camp will begin a strike on Tuesday after a teacher was assaulted by the parent of one of the school’s students.
Director of the Askar School where the incident occurred said an angry father rushed the guard at the door to the school, assaulted him and then entered the building where he struck a teacher over the head with a blunt object.
The teacher’s condition has been described as moderate to serious, and he was taken immediately to hospital for treatment.
Of course, the students don’t have it so good either.
