Introducing Pini, the new Israeli web comedy series which is destined to be a hit with Israelis, but may also elicit some laughs from those who know Israelis and/or are familiar with the Israeli language and culture.
From the Facebook fan page:
Pini is a web comedy series for Israelis who live abroad…. and also in Israel.
Pini (our beloved character) used to be a cook in the ‘Kirya’ army base, but now he is trying to fulfill his dream of being a great chef like Gordon Ramsey.
The show is being filmed in London and it speaks English, but thinks Hebrew.
Pini is very intelligent, though to most people he seems rather dumb. His housemate, Tom Jones, is trying his hardest to understand what Pini wants from him…
Pini is trying to understand, full stop.
