A massive, raging fire in northern Israel.
Over 20,000 dunams of land consumed.
Over 13,000 people evacuated.
41 people dead (so far).
Ironically, this is occurring during the Jewish festival of Chanukah, a joyous time on which we commemorate the miracles of our victory over the Syrian-Greeks and a one-day supply of oil burning for eight days.
Made even more ironic due to the fact Greece was the first country to respond to our current cry for help.
I’m sure there is a message in there somewhere, but I’m not quite sure what it is.
