For a people who apparently control the media, we are once again doing a terrible job.
Update: I’m not the only one who noticed.
Seriously, you’d think the good people over at the GPO would launch a serious, useful and attractive Facebook page, right?
I mean, with all the resources of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Foreign Ministry, and the Ministry of Information and Public Diplomacy at its service, the best they can come up with was this?
The first post wasn’t even by the GPO! Just a day after it was launched, it’s Wall Posts are anti-Israel.

Great, our GPO, who is tasked with trying to manage in part what the world thinks about Israel has just created yet another platform for anti-Israeli comment.
And we’re paying taxes for this?
GPO director Oren Helman said told Globes: “The new media is an inseparable part of the GPO’s operations. We will expand our new media operations with bloggers and other fields.”
OK Mr. Helman, you have to do better than this. Like, maybe you can do something about this nasty Facebook group?
