Two-time Academy Award winning actor Christoph Waltz was set to travel to Israel next week for his daughter Miriam’s wedding, Channel 10 program “Good Evening with Guy Pines” revealed.
The Austrian-German actor who played “The Jew Hunter” SS-Standartenführer Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino’s film Inglourious Basterds, was in fact previously married to a Jewish psychologist with whom he had two daughters and a son, the latter who is a rabbi in Israel.
Update: That’s his son with him at the BAFTAs, who you can see wearing a black yamulke at 1:26-1:28, 1:46-1:47, and 1:49-1:51 (hat tip: Miriam).
