Saudi Arabia’s War Against Ridiculously Good Looking Men

Some posts just write themselves.

handsome2Three men visiting a Saudi Arabian cultural festival were deported back to the United Arab Emirates because they were “irresistible” to women.

The trio were thrown out of the Jenadrivah Heritage and Culture Festival outside Riyadh on Sunday.

The newspaper Elaph reports that religious cops from the conservative Islamic kingdom were called into action soon after the UAE delegation arrived.

A female artist had unexpectedly turned up and officials feared their presence could break strict Saudi rules preventing contact between men and unmarried women.

Elaph’s article, as reported by Arabian Business, stated: “A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and the Commission (for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices) members feared female visitors could fall for them.”

And the Saudi’s wouldn’t want these handsome men driving the women crazy, since driving and women don’t go hand in hand over there.

First they came for the handsome men, and I did not speak out
