Fanning the Flames in Jerusalem’s Valley of Cross

Fire broke out along the paths in the Valley of the Cross in Jerusalem, Israel.

On occasion an unattended fire can be found near the monastery.

Today’s blaze was serious and spread quickly.

But was also contained quickly and watched carefully for hours as it smoldered.

What has been spreading faster then the flames?

Guesses to the cause of this fire in what are supposed to be news items.

This is one photo taken in the area, and there are many others, of graffiti pieces that I have collected over the last few years.

This one does not fit a “price tag” theory,

it says “end the occupation.”

Sorry to link this fire to “price tag” so quickly is irresponsible.

And darn if that is not a different fire ?
