It’s Tisha B’Av, the 9th day of the Hebrew calendar’s month of “Av”. To put it bluntly, a lot of bad stuff has happened to the Jewish people down through the ages on this day: destruction of Temples, Crusades, expulsions, slaughters etc.
And yet, as we say, “Am Yisrael Chai”: the Jewish nation lives.
Despite the best efforts and predictions of Jew haters. Here’s a tweet from our old fiend, UK member of parliament David Ward MP (Bradford East) fervently wishing for an end to the world’s only Jewish state:
Am I wrong or are am I right? At long last the #Zionists are losing the battle – how long can the #apartheid State of #Israel last?

To which I say, we were in Israel before Britain existed and we’ll still be in Israel after Britain.
