One of the most prolific funders of all manner of anti-Israel and anti-Zionist organisations, the New Israel Fund (NIF), is lashing out like a wounded animal. Good. Time to stick the knife in deeper and kill this beast. If you can’t be bothered to read their begging article in JPost today, just read the summary sent to me by a friend:
Support the NIF. That way you can be sure that instead of your dollars just going to causes you support, they’ll also go to causes you and we oppose. If you’re pro-democracy you should like that. Really.
But don’t give your money to other organizations. Because that way, some of your dollars will go to causes we oppose (and you ought to oppose). And any dollars going to causes like that, is bad for democracy. Really. Unless they’re distributed by the NIF. Then they’re good for democracy.
We know this is tough to understand. But you’ll just have to trust us. We’re good and tolerant people, unlike all those intolerable lying fascist people who don’t agree with us. So give us your money.
