Israel played host to 11 US beauty queens as part of “The Face of Israel” initiative, described as “a public diplomacy project that was formed to enhance understanding and awareness of Israel among key groups and individuals.” And we all know beauty queens are “key individuals”, especially considering their handle on world affairs.
