George Deek, a Christian Arab from Jaffa, recounts his family’s story, in which they were told by Arab leaders in 1948 to flee their houses while the Arab armies would destroy Israel.
I’ll give away the ending: Israel was not destroyed, and George is not anti-Israel. In fact, he’s Israel’s deputy consul to Norway.
