The Jerusalem Cinematheque, from which one has one of the best views of the Old City, is in the news today.
Usually the Jerusalem Cinematheque makes headlines for the international films it is showing, sometimes for controversial independent films.
However today, Israeli Cinematheques are in the news with the death of their founder, the Israeli first lady of cinema, Lia Van Leer.
Only recently she attended an event in Jerusalem and one had to marvel at her activity for a 90 year old.
