Raising Flags For the Yoms

Passover and Easter holidays are over and more than 130,000 visitors were in Israel.

As the last tourists are heading to the airport, including some famous ones, another holiday season is beginning.

The large blue and white flags will stay in place lining the streets for Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, which begins tomorrow night. Yom HaZikaron, Memorial for Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terror, and Yom Ha’atzmaut,  Israel Independence Day, are next week. And finally, Yom Yerushalyim, Jerusalem Day which is on May 17.

This season of the Yoms, a special time to be in Israel.
