The following fake twitter account spews Jew hatred. The profile picture is taken from a well known Rabbi (I won’t name him in the post) and the name of the account is probably a misspelling.
The account’s handle is “israeleretz”: “eretz” meaning country and the stated name is “David Howitz”.
I’m not sure there is much value in repeating the tweets. It’s the usual mix of fake Torah quotes and rabid conspiracies about evil Jews and Zionists. Because it pretends to be from a Jew, this somehow makes the Jew haters more excited.
Israeli Tech celebrity Hillel Fuld has reported the account and even tagged Del Harvey, Head of Twitter Trust & Safety. There is a structural problem at Twitter with accounts that misrepresent real people. It’s so easy to do this and it seems Twitter is not interested in policing this side of its platform diligently.
This is unbelievable. @israeleretz is using someone’s picture, a fake bio, and spewing hate speech and Twitter won’t act. @delbius, help??

Shurat Ha’Din are opening a class action suit against Facebook, YouTube/Google are also open to being played by those who hate Jews, Twitter needs to be looked at carefully too.
