Yachad’s Hannah Weisfeld Gives Comfort And Solace

Once again the Jew and Israel haters are frothing with excitement over the forthcoming “Israel Apartheid Week”. The toxicity of this event is right up there alongside a glass of tap water in Flint, Michigan.

It’s so poisonous that no right thinking individual would ever appear on its program if they wanted to be thought of as a serious voice in discussions about Israel. And any Jew who chooses to grace this travesty with their presence, even if only to provide balance, is sorely misunderstanding the entire premise of  these events. Their name alone betrays the forgone conclusions of the event organisers and participants.

Which brings me to this event.

Tuesday 23rd: Ben White, Sue Blackwell, Hannah Weisfeld and Hugh Hubbard.

We’re well acquainted with the odious views of Ben White. Sue Blackwell is cut from the same cloth. Hugh Hubbard has shown up previously in similar “debates” on whether boycotting Israeli academics is a good idea.

Hannah Weisfeld is the director and founder of the UK’s Yachad. It paints itself as a kind of UK J-Street but, probably just because Jew hatred is much more acceptable there, Yachad lean even further away from Israel than J-Street. It is, as you’d expect, virulently against allowing Jews to live in our indigenous lands.

Even if Hugh and Hannah are there at this “debate” to put the other side against an academic boycott, there is a huge problem with the entire event. It will be a show trial in front of a wildly partisan audience who are only there for the eventual declaration of victory: Israeli academics must be boycotted.

By showing up to these events, as-a-Jew representatives like Hannah Weisfeld reinforce the lies of those who hate and would destroy Jewish Israel. No good comes of this, all we learn is where the sympathies of Yachad lie. They’re still fully bought into the myth of the two state solution and the green line lie.
