Vote For Israel And Help ALS Sufferers

No, not in the Eurovision (though you can do that too), vote for an Israeli Startup’s life changing medical technology. Remember when we all poured a bucket of water over our heads for the ALS challenge? This is going to help ALS sufferers even more. Read this from Nogah Goldberg:

Nogah Goldbert father eye controlHi friends, please read, vote and share this post.

This is my handsome dad. He is standing with my brother who came to work in the same hospital for a while. I took this pic on March 2013, when my dad still rode his bicycle to work every day. One month later he was diagnosed with ALS. Today he is completely paralyzed.

One of the first things my father lost was his voice. This is actually how he discovered his illness.

Now he has an opportunity for a voice. A new development will allow him, and patients like him to actually talk. A special pair of glasses that would read eye movement will translate his thoughts into actual speaking, something that could not have really happened in the last two years.

I need everybody’s help. Those glasses are now participating in a special social start up competition. Every vote is worth money, and I’m assuring you that this money is going straight to patients just like my beautiful dad.

I will probably not have another chance of hearing him yelling my name or asking me to turn off the light, but with your help there is a chance I could hear him in a weird metallic voice saying his special nick name for me and it would make me the happiest. And him as well. Thank you for your attention…

You can vote for Eye Control in this prestigious competition. If they win the prize it not only helps them (cash always helps) the added prestige will help the advance as a company and help many more people.
