Latest Libel: The “Assault” of the Palestinian With Down Syndrome

The palestinians and their supporters are claiming Israeli soldiers assaulted a palestinian with Down Syndrome. Yet as usual, they cannot stick to one story.

Tasnim News Agency calls him a “boy” and claims we violently arrested him, breaking his arm. Yet the photos of him with the soldiers do not indicate any violence (and we do not even know if he was arrested – for all we know he was being escorted away from an area where he could have been hurt).

Their “proof” we broke his arm? Photos of him with a bandage on it.

Note he does not seem to be in distress. For all we know, the palestinians placed the bandage on his arm for the photo opportunity after he was released by the soldiers.

Yeni Safak also claims he was a “youth,” and that we tortured him, leading to the alleged broken arm.

Anadolu Agency calls him a “youth”, even though they reveal his age as 26! They claim IDF soldiers assaulted him with the backs of their guns, leading to a broken arm, and that they often abuse and mock him.

IMEMC News claims we repeatedly beat him, breaking his wrist (not arm).

Besides the inconsistencies in the stories, even the palestinian Ma’an News Agency has not reported this – and we know they usually do not miss an opportunity to report things that demonize Israel. Furthermore, we are supposed to believe the IDF, which has just helped evacuate hundreds of Syrian White Helmets, would just bully, mock and assault a man with Down Syndrome?

I don’t buy it for a second.

Shame on the palestinians and their supporters for attempting to exploit this poor man for their propaganda efforts.
