Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, one of the greatest people of our generation, has passed away after a battle with cancer.
Rabbi Lord Sacks was a giant among men, yet managed to remain humble. His insights were deep and profound, and I would be hard-pressed to think of anyone I ever heard who was more articulate and erudite than him.
Rabbi Lord Sacks was an active man of Torah, one who used his prodigious intellect and rhetorical skills to fight hard for the Jewish people, while showing his concern for all of humanity
He also had a great sense of humor
The world is a much darker placer without Rabbi Lord Sacks in it. This truly is a loss for all of humanity.
