Over the years, the palestinian Arabs have had a number of symbols, which they believe personifies them.
Perhaps the most famous is the forlorn cartoon character Handala:
There have been real life ones over the years, including the infamous Yasser Arafat, but also “regular folk” like ‘Shirley Temper’ Ahed Tamimi:
and more recently, “Triple A” A’ed Abu Amro, the shirtless terrorist whose pose was compared to a Delacroix painting:
Now there’s a new one – the terrorist who shot Israeli border policeman St.-Sgt. Barel Shmueli (may his memory be a blessing) in the head at close range as he guarded the border:
I do admit the currently nameless terrorist is a more fitting symbol. He represents:
- Shameless cowardice (sneaking up on someone protecting Israeli citizens and murdering him in cold blood);
- Shameless lying (being called a “completely unarmed and defenseless protester” at the same time as being shown shooting a gun); and
- The sickness prevalent in their society:
Residents of Gaza celebrate the death of an Israeli hero – an IDF soldier who was shot by a terrorist in Gaza and died after nine days. Poor people like you🤮! Continue to live in poverty and misery, while we 🇮🇱 will continue to prosper pic.twitter.com/WmzGFkVCle

(note also the Gucci t-shirt on the reveler in “concentration camp” Gaza).
Here’s hoping he is turned into a dead symbol real soon.
