But a look at what Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez actually said reveals what was truly going on:
In other words, no-one claimed the dress or wrapped grape leaves were Israeli. The contestants spent time with Bedouins, experiencing their culture.
And if palestinian Arabs want to claim Bedouins do not dress like this or eat wrapped grape leaves, good luck with that.
