Iymen Chehade, an adjunct professor at Columbia College Chicago, is also an extreme Israel-hater. He is the faculty advisor to terror-supporters Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) chapters at COLUM, and has even shown support for convicted terrorist Rasmea Odeh. He naturally supports BDS, even promoting it “in front of congressmen and diplomats” on behalf of the PLO. He is now running as a congressional candidate for Illinois district 3, and has the support of Jew-haters like Suhair Nafal.
Chehade was recently interviewed by Palestine Broadcast International about his Congressional run. In the interview, he admits a main goal of his is to ‘take advantage’ of increasing empathy towards palestinian Arabs in order to change the narrative to portray them as victims and not the aggressors. He also states how more palestinian Arabs need to seek political power in the US in order to change facts on the ground in the Middle East.
While the Chehade’s of the world like Ilhan Omar whine that the “Zionists” have political power, they seek it themselves. And not for the good of the US or the world. Quite the opposite actually.
