Palestinian Arabs Seethe Over Spanish Tourist Showing Some Skin on Temple Mount

A Spanish tourist visited Israel and posted this seemingly innocuous photo of herself on Instagram.

But what is truly innocuous when it comes to the sensibilities of those who want to find offence in everything – and blame it on the Jews of course?.

Today, Wednesday, the Palestinian Liberal Movement condemned the dangerous provocative scenes and the desecration of a Zionist settlement in obscene clothing in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The movement’s spokesman, Yasser Khalaf, confirmed in a statement to Shehab Agency, “This step is the result of the continued encouragement of the Zionist governments that oversee and strive to impose their Judaization and settlement plans for the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque .”

Khalaf said, ” This intrusion is a major and dangerous provocation to the feelings of our people, Muslims and all Arabs, and disregard for the entire nation , and it is the result of the continuation of Arab-Zionist normalization that encourages the Zionists to persist in their aggression and crimes against our people and ours.”

He added, “These scenes are a dangerous transgression of all red lines, and the continuation of the occupation’s aggression and making way for settlers and extremists from various Zionist components is playing with fire and detonating a detonator for which the occupation bears full responsibility.”

Old and busted: Rage against the Machine

New hotness: Rage against the ‘obscene.’

The idea that we allowed her on the Temple Mount in ‘appropriate’ clothing as some kind of Zionist plot is obviously ridiculous. But it bears mentioning that she does seem modestly dressed when she is standing up.

The split in her dress only seems noticable when she is sitting down.

I have no doubt she did not intend to be provocative, and certainly does not deserve this treatment. She has since taken down the offending photo, and I can imagine feeling threatened probably had a lot to do with that.

Meanwhile, while some have blurred the “offensive” parts, others got a bit lazy.
