Earlier this year, Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega showed she is anti-Israel with a series of tweets:

This has been picked up by other haters, like antisemite Suhair Nafal:

It’s a lie. New Yorker never interviewed Ortega, and the tweeter has deleted their tweet with the fake quote. They have also admitted it was fake, a ploy to get journalists to ask Ortega about it and for her to then actually look into the book.
Note how the tweeter admits these fake quotes are “a trend.”
What this confirms is just how unscrupulous the Israel-haters are. They will lie, even when it involves attributing a fake quote to someone.
The truth is, her real tweet – the second tweet above – does suggest she might support terrorism, since it links to a website that is pro-terrorism:
Do Palestinians have the right to resist Israeli colonialism?
It further specifically mentions the Palestinian people as possessing this right:
According to international law, it is legitimate for an occupied people to resist occupation by any means available to them. United Nations resolution 37/43 “Reaffirms the legitimacy of the struggle of peoples for independence, territorial integrity, national unity and liberation from colonial and foreign domination and foreign occupation by all available means, including armed struggle”.
“Reaffirms the inalienable right of the Namibian people, the Palestinian people and all peoples under foreign and colonial domination to self-determination, national independence, territorial integrity, national unity and sovereignty without outside interference”.
But even if such a right was not enshrined in international law, it is natural for humans to want to rid themselves from the domination of others.
The question is: is Ortega just a virtue-signaling celebrity ignoramus, who linked to that site thinking it contained “pro-palestinian” information without knowing how extreme it is? Or is she actually that extreme and a terror-supporter herself?
I have reached out to Ortega to see what clarify her position. I won’t be holding my breath for a response, but you never know.
