Israelism is an anti-Israel film “starring” some of the worst anti-Israel scum and villainy, including Peter Beinart and Noam Chomsky.
The trailer and synopsis should tell you just how insidious it is:
Israel is central to the political and cultural life of the American Jewish community. But it has also become a deeply divisive subject, as painful cracks have emerged within the Jewish community over the Israel-Palestine conflict, inspiring argument, protest and even censorship. ISRAELISM explores the past, present and future of the relationship between American Jews and Israel. Dozens of American Jewish thinkers, community leaders and activists share stories of falling in and out of love with Israel, and competing visions for a Jewish future, while Israelis and Palestinians describe how their lives are affected by the decisions of a community half a world away. Israelism asks how and why Israel became the cornerstone of American Judaism, what the consequences have been, and what will happen as divisions continue to grow.
Enter ‘Rabbi Linda’, the Twitter parody account that had done a sterling job exposing the ignorance and stupidity of the Israel-haters who love to present themselves as experts on the conflict yet invariably do not even know there are no Jews in Gaza, let alone a Rabbi with a temple:

To make matters worse, after that tweet, the geniuses behind Israelism still could not work it out:

And who is behind the Israelism Twitter account? It seems to be one Eric Axelman:

who is listed as one of the film’s directors.
Someone this ignorant making a film demonizing Israel. Color me unsurprised.
