Once upon a time, I enabled comments under the posts on this site, using something called OpenWeb comments.
It was ok for a while – despite my inability to follow and moderate all the time – until it wasn’t.
One day, I was not even able to log in in order to moderate comments, meaning the lunatics (trolls) took over the asylum.
So I had no choice but to remove the comments section.
After that, I knew I wanted to introduce comments again, but using a different commenting system. Discussion and dialogue is important to me and what I want this website to be, after all. My web host suggested Disqus (mostly for site performance reasons), so we installed it.
So enjoy. But with great power comes great responsibility. Keep things civil and allow me time to moderate. I am but a one-man show after all (hopefully something else I will be able to change in future)
