Teachers Samuel Bischof And Jessica Lee Celebrate Leaving Jewish School With Keffiyeh Selfie

Imagine getting employment at a Jewish school, teaching science and math to sixth and seventh graders every day for 1-2 years.

A school named after Abraham Joshua Heschel, a great activist who actively participated in the Civil Rights movement, and was a participant in the third Selma to Montgomery march, accompanying Dr. King and John Lewis, and who the former called “a truly great prophet.”

A school where “Jewish pluralism and academic excellence thrive within a community of students and faculty dedicated to the values that characterized Rabbi Heschel’s life: intellectual exploration, respect, integrity, love of the Jewish people and tradition, and a commitment to social justice.”

Every day you go to school, you teach young Jewish kids and perhaps even form bonds with them.

You also see their love of their culture and for their homeland, Israel, and likely see how much they are hurting after the Hamas atrocities of October 7.

If you are a good teacher – heck, a good human being – you’d show understanding. You might even comfort the students.

But former Heschel math and science teachers Samuel Bischof and Jessica Lee are not good human beings.

This is how they “celebrated” their last day teaching at the school:

On LinkedIn, Lee states she is “interested in…ways in which I can broaden my impact as a teacher.” Apparently this involves showing callous disregard for her former students, not to mention the lives of innocent people butchered, raped and kidnapped by members of a terror organization.

As for Bischof, I suspect he has been too heavily engaged in research.

Heschel has responded to their conduct, calling it “hateful and disrespectful” and “damaging”:

Meanwhile, I hope this post acts as a constant warning to any prospective employers of these two thoroughly vile people.
