Today, judoka Nurali Emomali from Tajikistan defeated Israel’s Baruch Shmailov. But it is what happened after the fight that was more newsworthy.
Emomali defiantly celebrated after the victory, pointing to the sky and declaring “Allahu Akbar,” while refusing to shake his Israeli opponent’s hand (for the second time; he pulled the same shtik at the Tashkent Grand Slam Final, refusing to shake Shmailov’s hand there, while turning his back on him at the podium and shaking hands with the Bronze medalists).
However in the next round, karma in the form of Japanese judoka Hifumi Abe got hold of him and dislocated his shoulder, ending his campaign lying on the mattress in tears for many minutes.

I’d tell him to get bent but looks like he already did.
