The last time I wrote about anti-Zionist-not-antisemitic Burgertory boss Hash Tayeh, he was facing arrest over allegations he incited hatred of Jewish people.
It turns out, Mr Nothingburger was visited by police and the Director of Public prosecutions will decide whether he will be charged, in a process that could take weeks.
In the meantime, he has done nothing to help his case; in fact, he has shown even more antisemitism and terror support, which I will highlight and make sure reaches the DPP.
For a start, right after the police visit, Hash loudly declared to supporters outside his restaurant: “All Zionists are terrorists” before the crowd began repeating the chant. Surely, wishing death on at least 90% of the world’s Jews won’t help his claim that he’s not inciting hatred of Jewish people.
And there’s more; Tayeh recently compared Israeli PM Netanyahu to Hitler, clearly in contravention of the IHRA working definition of antisemitism, which was adopted by his home state of Victoria:
Hitler believed he was untouchable, much like Netanyahu believes he is untouchable. Yet, just as Hitler’s downfall was inevitable, so too will be Netanyahu’s.

Then there’s this:
A primary-school-aged child has been seen wearing a Hamas-style outfit at a pro-Palestine rally, with disturbing photos of the child alongside prominent activist Hash Tayeh referred to the Australian Federal Police.
In one troubling photo, Mr Tayeh, who is the owner of restaurant chain Burgertory, can be seen next to a boy wearing a Hamas-style headband in front of a crowd.
The green headband, which looks like those worn by members of the terrorist organisation, is understood to say “I love choccy milk”.
It comes after the Herald Sun revealed photos of several protesters wearing Hamas insignia had been referred by Victoria Police to the Australian Federal Police.

Naturally, Hash claims the headband was innocent, despite the resemblance to a Hamas one:

I would love to see him now attempt to explain away the kid’s t-shirt with the inverted red triangle.
Not to mention attempt to sue for defamation.
