Rapper Macklemore – who I prefer to call Shmeckelless – has already proved my point about Israel-haters invariably being antisemites.
But now he has proved another point of mine – that these Israel-haters also really hate the US:
It must make Shmeckelless feel oh-so-virtuous to curse the US while benefiting from it as he has. He was born and bred there, has made his wealth (said to be approximately $25 million) thanks to the freedoms and opportunities he enjoys there, and is even part of the ownership group of a couple of sport teams: the Seattle Sounders FC (the local Major League Soccer club), and the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League.
But f**** America, right?
