Meet Myliesha Ryder aka Myliesha Lee Sjorberg Tracanelli:
Myliesha is the owner of Luna Moss, a flower store located in Barkly Street, St Kilda, an area of Melbourne in which many Jews live. In fact, St Kilda has been called “the axis of Jewish life in Melbourne for over 150 years,” and Barkly Street itself has some Jewish history.
In June of this year, the office of Jewish federal Labor MP Josh Burns – located in the same street – was set on fire, and the walls of the building daubed in red paint and graffitied with a slogan reading ‘Zionism is fascism.’
You’d hope that Myliesha would be sensitive to the Jewish community, especially given her location but also clientele. Heck, she loves advertising her work with Jewish clients:
Alas, Myliesha likes to show her support for the Jewish community by using her Luna Moss store Instagram account to post anti-Israel propaganda that crosses over into antisemitism territory; like when she compares us to Nazis, in contravention of the IHRA working definition of antisemitism:
or in support of the eradication of the world’s only Jewish state:
It is no wonder she loves herself a good terrorist:
What she posts on her Facebook wall is no better:
all while claiming we falsely accuse people of antisemitism:
I believe in freedom of speech, so Myliesha should feel free to continue spewing these lies and hate. But I also believe in consequences of one’s speech, so I think potential Jewish customers should stay away from Luna Moss, as well as anyone who opposes antisemitism and terror support.
