I am super proud to call Nova Peris, Indigenous Australian activist, two-times Olympian, and former senator – a friend.
And the truth is, she is a friend to all Jewish people. One of the best friends we have.
She recently stood besides Jewish former Australian treasurer Josh Frydenberg to condemn antisemitism in Australia, which recently manifest itself with the arson attack on Melbourne’s Adass Israel synagogue. But more than that, she reminded the Jewish people we are not alone, and count amongst our supporters the cream of humanity.
