Meet Dr Akil Islam:
A General Practioner (GP) who practices in Mareeba, QLD Australia, Islam has no qualms about being a doctor and being outspoken in his hatred of Israel.
Here he is in action at a rally in September 2024:
There is so much to be disturbed about here: him acknowledging how medical colleagues might see his actions here as inappropriate – given he is a doctor – but he nevertheless justifying it; railing against Australia, the country that has afforded him his opportunities; blindly parroting Hamas-provided casualty figures; comparing us to the Nazis, a recognized antisemitic comparison; and leading the crowd in the genocidal chant “From the River to the Sea.”
On LinkedIn, it is even worse. Besides amplifying antisemitic posts, like this one making the Holocaust comparison, while containing the genocidal chant:
and this referring to us as the “Chosen Ones”(a clear reference to Jews)
he implies Hamas are freedom fighters, not terrorists:
and even reposts a post that refers to “resistance until liberation” while using the inverted red triangle of Hamas:
Again, how could any Jew, Israeli, or anyone who detests terrorism and antisemitism feel safe with Dr Islam as their GP?
