If constant condemnation is the way the world is punishing us, then we’ll go it alone.
What’s more, our enemies are taking advantage of the internal divisions which threaten us.
Country after country are losing faith in our ability to find some kind of peaceful or even acceptable arrangement to end the conflict, so Israel is becoming more and more isolated.
Come for a Visit
But if you decide to come to Israel and see for yourself how the people of Israel are affected by these critical issues, you may be surprised.
When you arrive at the airport, don’t expect to be hurried through, as hordes of passengers will be waiting in line to certify entry and collect their luggage.
Not all tourists, but Israelis returning home.
Take a look at the departure lounge.
Not just tourists traveling home, but Israelis on vacation to destinations all around the world.
Ben Gurion airport is buzzing, despite the fact that several international airlines have suspended flights while the war continues.
It’s Just the Way We Live

How is this hive of activity happening, given the difficulties Israel is currently experiencing?
Well, it’s necessary to understand how Israelis think and how they live.
There’s nothing new about being isolated from the rest of the world. We are used to it.
Since 1948 Israel has constantly been either at war, or being attacked by hostile neighbours and terrorists.
Being under threat is a way of life and you get used to living under stressful conditions, never knowing where the next terrorist will strike, or when the next rocket will be fired.
What other country in the world would accept this?
Despite this, we continue to help other people in other parts of the world such as offering life-saving medical support and assistance for victims of natural disasters.
Living in Israel is rather unique in some ways.
For instance, when it comes to politics it’s either black or white. Left or right. No shades of grey.
Being a democratic country, everybody can have their say, either privately or publicly.
If you read the morning newspaper, after browsing the front page, it’s straight to the cartoon on the editorial page to see which politician is being singled out for one questionable thing or another.
We often get criticized for being rude, but we are just direct. Straight to the point!
After 77 very long years, Israel is still growing, creating, developing and increasing in size.
Overwhelmingly, the population of Israel wants to live in peace. Not just the Jewish people, but those of any race or religion who are citizens of the country.
It is quite plain that throughout the rest of the world, our mission in rebuilding Jewish life and tradition after nearly being halved during WW2 is not recognised and appreciated by others who bear an eternal grudge against the Jewish people.
If need be, we’ll just go it alone!
