Don’t you just love how the Israel-haters are so full of bull?
At the running of the bulls in Pamplona, activists took a stand for Palestine.
The group, Yala Nafarroa, was chosen by vote to open the event – turning one of Spain’s biggest street parties into a moment of solidarity.
They shouted: “Stop genocide, free Palestine” as tens of thousands of people erupted in cheers.
Imagine pretending to be compassionate people – while gleefully joining one of the world’s cruelest bloodsports.
The running of the bulls – especially as practiced in Pamplona – is widely considered to be very cruel to animals. The bulls are clearly frightened and stressed during the run, forced to charge through narrow, crowded streets, often slipping and crashing into walls or people, and getting injured. They’re often prodded or shocked to provoke aggression before the run begins. They are chased, beaten, and stabbed for entertainment. They are also typically killed in bullfights later the same day, suffering slow and painful deaths.
Don’t get me wrong. I am not an animal rights advocate and enjoy steak probably more than the next guy. But cruelty for the sake of “entertainment?” That’s beyond the pale and you certainly shouldn’t pretend to be a compassionate person if that’s how you roll.
Meanwhile, this somehow seems appropriate for these Israel-haters and supporters of terrorists:
