Date Night Studio, Sydney Florist, Sells ‘Gaza Cola’ While Preaching Inclusivity

Date Night Studio is a florist in Sydney owned by Luemma “Lu Lu” Pilcher, who co-founded New York’s Lulo Floral and has been “collaborating with some of the biggest names in fashion, art, and music.”

Luemma not-so-humbly thinks Date Night Studio is the best florist in Sydney, and has written why. Among her reasons:

A Warm and Inclusive Approach

What sets Date Night Studio apart is our embrace of inclusivity and individuality. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for all, celebrating diverse voices and fostering genuine connections within the community. This ethos extends beyond our floral creations, influencing every aspect of our work. From our interactions with clients to collaborations with local artists, Date Night Studio’s approach is rooted in warmth and authenticity.

And what better way to embrace inclusivity and create a welcoming environment for all than by selling Gaza Cola with the description “Gaza Cola is a great-tasting cola drink that is 100% apartheid free”

while displaying it in your store:

I am sure any proud Jew visiting the physical or online story will feel oh-so included and welcome.

Yet admittedly more welcome than Luemma Pilcher herself would be in Gaza:

Meanwhile, what is it with all the poison ivy among Australian florists?
