How the IDF Combines Survival with Innovation

Time and time again, year after year Israel has risen to the occasion and fought off hostile Arab nations and terrorists, hell bent on destroying us in one way or another.

Without fear of contradiction the Israeli Armed Forces have risen to be Israel’s greatest asset.

Proven their worth over 78 years, now considered one of the finest armies in the world, without fear of defeat and the determination to survive often under trying conditions.

State-of-the Art Weaponry

One of the IDF’s biggest advantages is the availability of cutting-edge weaponry which is battle-proven and locally produced.

Israel is widely regarded as a producer of sophisticated, high-tech weapons.

In addition, the willingness to upgrade as more advanced methods can be employed for greater efficiency.

Modern technology has been a key factor in Israel’s exports of sophisticated warfare.

In 2024 Israel sold more weapons than ever before to other countries.

A remarkable achievement while fighting on multiple fronts in the longest war in our history, with the need for local military needs constantly escalating.

The nature of Israel’s military might, both on the field and in the creation of sophisticated weaponry is nothing short of miraculous.

Who is Buying?

The biggest market for Israeli military exports are Europe 54%, Asia/Pacific 23%, Abraham Accords countries 12%. The balance from countries with smaller requirements.

What is significant is that 48% of all exports are missiles, rockets and air defense systems.

It is clear that the rest of the world recognises Israel’s military strength and wants to become a part of it.

This further stimulates Israel’s determination to keep improving military might with advanced technological systems to maintain their superiority in security and defense.

Army Benefits

National service in Israel is compulsory, but members of the IDF are well cared for while serving, also after discharge.

While stationed on-base, in addition to receiving a salary they receive medical care through the base clinics which also provide specialist and medical treatment as required.

When discharged they receive a one-time release grant.

Members furthering their education after discharge are offered tuition subsidies and can apply for scholarships for higher education.

Those entering the workforce can readily receive employment assistance.

On discharge, taxation benefits for the first few years and mortgage reductions for home buyers.

It is readily agreed throughout the country that the efforts and successes of the IDF might well be the prime reason for Israel’s continued survival and amazing achievements over some 77 years.

It’s a dreadful price we have to pay for the loss of life and sustained injury, yet without an army considered to be one of the finest in the world and certainly the most compassionate, Israel would not be able to survive the terrorist regimes determined to eliminate us.

Our young men and women, together with permanent members of the IDF have set a standard of excellence with total commitment to the welfare of the State of Israel.

We owe them a significant debt of unlimited proportions.
