The Miss Universe drama continues, with “Miss Palestine” Nadeen Ayoub “really want(ing) to address something very, very important” because she’s “someone that really stands for justice… for what’s right.”
Oh, don’t worry. The “injustice” she now speaks about has nothing to do about Israel or any fake “genocide.”
It is about her being robbed of her rightful crown as winner of the Most Beautiful People category.
I kid you not.

Old and busted: “side-eye” controversy at Miss Universe. New hotness: Side-category controversy at Miss Universe.
I’m getting some serious Zoolander vibes from Nadeen Ayoub.
But there is something poetic about “Miss Palestine” whining about some perceived injustice, while proclaiming how she represented the voice of her people. She might just have a point.
Meanwhile, Miss Israeli Melanie Shiraz has described an awkward encounter she had with Ayoub at the pageant:
“I smiled at her the first day at breakfast – and it was very clear she was not going to engage with me,” said Shiraz, sharing another “awkward” incident.
“We were in an elevator – just us – and she stood there quietly” until Shiraz tried to make small talk. “It was very stiff and awkward.”
This incident also seems to be a microcosm of the conflict; the palestinian Arab falsely accusing the Israeli of something they themselves are guilty.
