Yesterday I posed some footage of Nasser Mashni and gang doing their thing at an anti-Israel protest in Melbourne. It was a shameful display of hate so soon after Bondi, the worst massacre in recent Australian history.
It has always been my method to proactively expose and ridicule the Jew-haters and terror supporters of the world, so it wasn’t even a question I would post this footage.
After I posted it on Instagram, I received the following comment
“Can we stop sharing his garbage and giving him a platform? He is watching himself here on your page and salivating. There are enough good people to follow and share.”
The truth is, I receive similar comments from time to time.
Today, my friend Caroline Marcus of Sky News Australia used some of the footage directly from my post in her excellent report on hate preaching in Australia.
Thanks to @carolinemarcus for this excellent report on the recent anti-Israel hate march in Melbourne. Am happy the footage I posted on social media was used in, and proved helpful for, the story. pic.twitter.com/TPmrmkKzE9

History has taught us, over and over again, what happens when decent people look away and tell themselves “don’t give them attention.” That instinct didn’t stop extremists then, and it won’t stop them now.
Calling out hate isn’t the problem. Silence is.
