The finding out phase of former Australian of the Year Grace Tame‘s FAFO exploits have reached a crescendo.
A charity established by Grace Tame has announced it will close, just weeks after she received widespread backlash for chanting “globalise the intifada”.
The former Australian of the Year announced she would not accept paid speaking engagements for the rest of the year following what she described as a “national smear campaign”.

The controversy prompted several politicians and Jewish leaders to call for Tame to be stripped of her Australian of the Year title.
In a statement shared on social media, The Grace Tame Foundation said it had reached a “crossroads”.
“Like many small advocacy organisations, sustaining long-term funding for this work has become increasingly challenging,” the statement said.
“After careful consideration, the Board has made the decision to close the foundation, with the process to be finalised in the coming weeks.
