A few weeks ago I posted how California State Senator Scott Wiener, who champions trans rights, was forced to leave the SF Trans March.
One of his attackers was this individual on the right of picture
who looks a bit like a shorter, trannier Oscar Martinez from The Office:
They go by the name Angie/Angelica, and they apparently run Radically Fit Oakland – which describes itself as “The Bay Area’s radical community gym rooted in fat liberation & joyful movement for all queer, trans, Black and brown folks and their allies, regardless of experience, size or ability.” I am guessing no Jews allowed though.
As my friend Shawn has already posted, Angie’s previous Instagram handle was @knifewieldingmenace. And until now, you might have thought they were perhaps referring to their cooking prowess.
A man accused of assaulting a federal officer and destruction of government property was supported by 30 mask-clad supporters at San Francisco federal courthouse this morning as he was granted bail.
Prosecutors say that Adrian Guerrero, aka Angelica Guerrero, used a knife to slash the tire of a van being used by Department of Homeland Security officials to transport a just-detained suspect in the city’s financial district on August 20.
Guerrero is accused of then pursuing DHS officers down the street, telling them “I’m going to fuck you up,” “I’m going to go after your family,” and “I’m going to stab you,” while in possession of the blade.
The 35-year-old faces a maximum penalty of one year in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.
At the start of the hearing, when the case was called as USA v Adrian Guerrero, Guerrero told U.S Magistrate Judge Sallie Kim that her name was “Angelica” which prompted the judge to begin referring to him as a female.
“The Government is obviously very concerned about the conduct put forward in the complaint,” said assistant U.S. attorney Dan Karmel, “but given the charges are misdemeanors…the government is amenable to conditions of release – the main concern we have is the safety of federal law enforcement and damage to federal buildings.”
This prompted laughter from Guerrero’s 30 or so supporters – mostly young white women sporting Yasser Arafat-scarves and face masks – who packed the benches of the small courtroom C.

An Instagram post attributed to Radically Fit Oakland describes Guerrero as an athlete who, since taking HRT [hormone replacement therapy] “has known that queer and trans people should lift.”
“There are too many chuds in weightlifting,” the biography notes, “and deadlifts are very useful for flipping cop cars.”
Guerrero would be better off flipping burgers. But I digress.
and Angélica LaFlame is the beneficiary of a GoFundMe currently running:
You read that right. Angélica LaFlame aka Adrian Guerrero, aka Angelica Guerrero is also a prostitute (so much for not liking Wieners). And they claims to have been put on their back… but not in a good way.
Now I don’t know whether they really were injured by a car while trying to turn tricks, but what I do now is the picture on the GoFundMe is not of Guerrero. It is of this person posted by the same Instagram account promoting the GoFundMe:
Adrian Guerrero, aka Angelica Guerrero, aka Angélica LaFlame, allegedly slashes the tire of a DHS van, threatens to stab federal officers and go after their families, runs a “radical” gym where flipping cop cars is apparently considered a legitimate use for deadlifts, attacks Scott Wiener at a trans march, and then becomes the beneficiary of a GoFundMe for a sex worker supposedly hit by a car – featuring a photo that apparently isn’t even of them.
At this point, the only thing more fluid than Guerrero’s identity seems to be the truth.
