Ido Amiaz, aka as “the Salukie,” is the worst kind of Israel-hater: an Israeli one.
Needless to say, he is rather deluded and has a high opinion of himself; two factors that led him to issue this challenge almost two weeks ago:
How it started vs how it ended.

Enter Israeli MMA fighter Shimon Smotritsky, who represents the best of us: proud, brave, and with the ability to cash any check he receives – which is what he did when he took the Salukie up on his challenge:
Talk is cheap, but getting knocked out in the first round is priceless. Perhaps he needs to change his name to the Sookie.
Meanwhile, Shimon Smotritsky said this following the “fight”:
“This guy is always spreading lies about Israel, about IDF soldiers, about all the heroes that are protecting us. And he’s saying things that are against my values, against the truth. So, I knew I needed to make him quiet and teach him a lesson.”
“Everyone curses me and threatens me, saying they’re going to kill me. Saluki challenged a Zionist fighter, and he showed up. For that alone, I respect you. I don’t agree with your views at all, and I think you’re a troll, but at the end of the day, you wanted this, and you got it.”
“Next time someone wants to represent Palestinians and fight against a Zionist, I want a bigger challenge. So, Belal Muhammad, Adam Salah, any one of you p***s that talks st about my country, come get it.”
I sincerely doubt any other Israel-hating trolls will take Shimon up on his offer. Because losing arguments online sure beats losing consciousness in a ring.
